After some wonderful time off for Thanksgiving with my family, I decided to post this reminder to you parents out there:

Got it? Don’t blink!

For today’s Photo Friday, Dawn and I want to remind you that Spring will come.
If you have a case of the winter blues due to cold, flu, sniffles, Mondays, February, gray sky, blizzard or slush, just remember that Spring is not so far away. Soon the sun will warm your skin and your soul’s hope for the new year. God is great, and 2013 is ripe with hope even if 2012 was less than average. Here’s how to make the most of the new year.
And for your mild amusement, here’s a little rhyme Dawn always liked:
Tulips in the garden
Tulips in the park
But the tulips I love best
Are the two lips in the dark
See! Made you smile!
I recently heard about a new iPad app called Haiku Deck. It allows you to create and share beautiful and simple slide shows like this one of our fall camping trip without geeky bullets or mice-type paragraphs.

It was so fun and easy to use that I also put together a Haiku deck of our Spring trip to Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.
