Here’s a Photo Friday look at God’s great creation through the lens of my daddy-daughter tour of south Georgia with Heidi last weekend. I’ve taken a bonding trip (aka preventative maintenance) with each of our children during their middle school years.
N-o r-e-g-r-e-t-s!
We stayed at the Newell Lodge in Folkston, Georgia where Heidi enjoyed a trail ride on Star, the mare you see here. A few hours before I took this photo, I witnessed a fascinating sight: hundreds and hundreds of robins feeding on the ground together. From Folkston we toured the Okefenokee Swamp, visited Saint Marys on the coast, and enjoyed some shopping in historic Savannah.
